INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAKING Amygdalin (B17)
A HERBAL MEANS TO STOP CANCER CELLS -KNOCK THEM DEAD!
Please read the following, which was given by the late Dr. Manuel D. Navarro, M.D., a Nutritional Oncologist, and who had a Clinic at his residence in Sta. Mesa, in Manila, and was still active in treating patients when he was well over eighty years old! He also had a Cancer Clinic at the University of Santo Thomas Medical Center in Manila, where he had been a Biochemist and Professor of Internal Medicine for many years. Dr. Navarro passed away mid-2004, but I am alive today, (March 30 2010) at age 88-years old and free from cancer, in part because of following Dr. Manuel Navarro’s advice, part of which I now relate here. I said ‘in part’ because I invented a helpful electronic machine in 1997 , as the result of a God-given dream, which I made only to kill my intestinal worms, but it also completely killed my colon cancer! However this is only my story, as I am prevented by the USDA to give any medical advice for anyone in the US (or Canada) For medical advice, you may consult his son, Dr. Efren Navarro, M.D., at the same Clinic, 3553 Sining St., Morningside Terrace, Sta. Mesa, Manila, Philippines, or e-mail him efnavmed@compass.com.ph. His father, Dr. Navarro, was a very modest man, simply listing himself as an “M.D.” and Nutritional Oncologist. The truth is, he was listed in a book published in London England, as being among the “top ten” Oncologists in the entire world! He was also a brilliant Biochemist. He told he had written over 100 Scientific Reports papers, but the USDA clocked every one; yet he was able to save hundreds of “terminal” cancer patients by use of B-17, change of diet, supplements, and enzymes. (Enzymes are live chemical catalyst.) You can buy digestive enzymes.
Dr. Navarro was my doctor, who reversed my colon cancer, thus saving my life over eleven years ago. One of the most interesting things told to me by Dr. Navarro was, that in forty years of practice, he never had discovered anything better than Amygdalin (Vitamin B-17), as found in the seeds of apricots, apples, prunes, peaches, and bitter almonds. (The ones from China). There was a famed psychic healer, who worked with doctors, and said “if you eat 10 bitter almonds a day, you will never get cancer.”
Food B-17 is also found in soybeans, mung bean sprouts, and in a hundred different vegetables, grains, nuts, wild-berries, blueberries, huckleberries, wild Oregon grape, and one of the very best sources is the familiar white tropical sweet potato, called Cassava, and that is what this blog is all about. Dr. Navarro told me he had a niece in Mindanao who developed cancer. She lived too far away fir him to treat her, and she could not afford to buy B-17, so he told her how to make it. Just from following his instructions she treated herself at home, and in four months the cancer was almost gone. Then through a Friendship Club she corresponded with an American, and they fell in love, He came to the Philippines, married her, and took her to the US. Eating American food, the cancer returned, and in another year she was gone. There is a moral in this story; you can control your cancer but you must continue doing the right things in order to prevent a return.– and Dr. Navarro told me an easy way to prepare B-17, and I used it myself. Before telling you how to make it, I will explain the rest of what he recommended to me.
1. Digestive enzymes, as found in fresh Pineapple and other fruit juice, helps de-shield the cancer-cell’s protective protein coating which cancer-cells get when we eat animal-source protein foods, (meat & milk). He said buy the German enzyme “Pancroflat” (Pancreatan) and Co’Enzyme Q-10, 300 mg. or more (from “Health Foods” stores} put on salads. Its best that you eat as many raw fruits, raw vegetable salads, etc, as possible. Use “Virgin Olive Oil”, or Virgin Coconut oil, four tablespoons a day plus Apple-Cider Vinegar, two tablespoons each and every day.
2. Vitamin “C” (not time delay) ten grams a day in 5 divided doses and “Natural” Vitamin “E” (400 iu. twice daily) Beta Carotene (15 mcg.) Niacin 200 mg./day, (flush free can be found) take sublingual B-12, (100 iu.) and Folic Acid, 400 mcg 2x day.
3. Plus, add the minerals, Selenium, 800 mcg., Zinc 100 mg. a day, and make and drink fresh juices, cabbage juice, pineapple juice, red beets juice and carrot juice (can be mixed), drink all you can every day. Best before meals (or whenever thirsty.) also drink only pure (filtered) water. –not distilled.
4. Now I will tell what Dr. Manuel Navarro said is an effective low-cost treatment to stop and even reverse cancer growth. In the morning, before breakfast, take about 4 inches of average size Cassava root (about 3mm to 4 mm diameter) wash and peel off only the outer brown skin, (easier if you use a “potato peeler” , instead of a knife) then chop it into small pieces about 1mm. to 2 mm in size, and place in a food blender. Add two cups (16 ounces) of distilled water and blend at high speed. About two minutes is enough. Then pour the “Cassava Tea” into a wide mouth glass storage bottle, and cool it in the refrigerator.
After it sets awhile you will see that all the dissolved starch has settled to the bottom, and there is nearly two cups of clear liquid on the top. Drink one-half of this (one cup) in the morning before breakfast, and drink the other half in the early evening. It is slightly bitter, so you may add concentrated fruit juice or flavor. You should consume only about 4 inches of the root the first day, but each day thereafter you add ½ inch more until one day you will feel a little dizzy a few minutes after taking it, That says STOP, and that is your tolerance level, so use 1/2 inch less thereafter. It safely kills cancer, but be very careful not to exceed the daily recommended amount. This should not be given to children, unless supervised by a doctor.
It is NOT deadly “Cyanide”, it is only (B-17) called Amygdalin and is similar in formula to cyanide, but it lacks an “h” factor of the cyanide formula, and it is an amazing fact that only cancer cells, being non-aerobic, do produce within themselves only that missing “h” factor, and thus poison themselves when touched by B-17! – but all other cells are left untouched! -This was well explained by Dr, Navarro, which is published under his name on my website, maycozapper.org.
The South American Indians living in the heights of the central mountain areas… eat maize (corn) as their major food. They never have cancer. Their maize corn contains large amounts B-17!
The Eskimos of the Northern Artic do not have vegetables, but because they eat reindeer that feed on tundra grasses, which contain large amounts of B-17, they never get cancer!
The people of Hunza-land (about whom books have been written) never have had cancer in hundreds of years because they eat the seeds of a hardy apricot which contains concentrated B-17!The Chinese have known for centuries that those who eat several bitter almonds every day never get cancer! Even wild animals, deer, antelope, bears, never get cancer in the wild, but do die of cancer in the zoo! In the wild, they eat berries, grasses and “weeds” which contain B-17.
Also, in fighting cancer, try Romanian Dr. Budwig’s protocol, 2 tablespoons cold-pressed refrigerated Flax Oil Take 2X a day mixed with ½ cup of Cottage Cheese. (for Sulfur) (Sulfur promotes healing.) Flaxseed oil is available in bottles from some Health-food Stores and through the Doctors who use supplemental healing methods, but it must be refrigerated from time of manufacture until time of consumption. Also, be aware that Flax-oil “capsules” (from Health Food stores) are worthless unless they are refrigerated.
A few final words of advice: Avoid artificial fats (margarine) and bakery products containing “hydrogenated” oils, and sugars, for it is the artificial fats and sugar which cause arterial deposits and high-blood pressure. You must avoid all “soft drinks”, and sugar; (cancer cells love sugar!) Sugar, and junk foods, not cholesterol, causes problems! Butter is okay; it is NOT the cause of high-blood pressure, for it is a natural fat easy to digest, and was eaten for centuries long before heart attacks became common!
The newest Medical Reports have proven that we have been deceived in being told to eat a “low-fat, high-carbohydrate” diet; the truth is the opposite! People who eat (natural) “high-fat low-carbohydrate” diets have the healthiest hearts. So eat wisely, and avoid potato chips, corn chips, and other such “junk foods“ as they are all made with the bad artificial fats! Having done all you can do to eat wisely pray for God’s Healing Energy, which He gives through proper life-style and proper diet!

THE NATURE OF CANCER (part5 of 7)
Several new books have come out about Amygdalin (B-17) and other cancer remedies. It even appears that the USDA and the NCI (The National Cancer Institute) are losing the trust of the USA population, as more and more people are discovering the truth about the cancer cures these agencies have been hiding, or calling ‘fraud’ for many years. I don’t wish bad luck on anyone, but maybe what is needed is for someone high up in the US government, perhaps a State Governor, or a U.S. Senator, or the National Security Advisor, a Supreme Court Justice, or maybe the head of the USDA himself to get liver or colon or lung cancer, and then to go alternative and recover, as I did 17 years ago from Colon cancer. Then maybe the laws could be modified to accept Alternative Cancer Cure, as it is accepted by law here in the Philippines, and in China.
I think it is hilarious that today I received a long e-mail report called a “Historical Insight into Rene Caisse’s “Cancer Tea” of yesterday.” It tells the historical fact that a Canadian Registered Nurse, Rene Caisse, in 1922 met an 80-year old female patient who 30 years earlier had taken an herbal tea for advanced breast cancer. The nurse, who was interested in the possible health benefits, asked her for the herbal formula. The formula was one obtained from a tribe of Canadian Indians.
In 1924 Rene Caisse’s elderly aunt was diagnosed with inoperable stomach cancer. With no other options, Rene Caisse asked her aunt’s doctor, Dr. R.O. Fisher if her aunt could try the “cancer tea” recipe…It worked and the aunt became well and lived another 21 years,
Dr. Fisher was so impressed with the aunt’s recovery experiment with the tea, he suggested that Rene Caisse experiment on other terminal cancer patients. It was first with research on mice and then with human patients that Rene Cacisse refined the recipe which contained eight wild herbs, down to a four herb formula consisting of Sheep Sorrel, Burdock root (As a boy I used to eat that one) slippery elm, and Indian Rhubarb. Rene called this herbal formula “Essiac”, which was her maiden name (Caisse) spelled backward.
What follow in the report named above is a fascinating story covering the lifetime of Nurse Cacisse who treated thousands of patients and cured all kinds of cancers, and was greatly persecuted by the Canadian Medical Association, falsely arrested for “practicing medicine with a license”, and to this day Essiac, a herbal formula, is ruled to be a “drug” and can not be manufactured as a treatment for cancer, and only can be sold as a food supplement with no health claims. I said in the beginning of this story that I think it is hilarious. Why?
Because both the CMA and the AMA and the Canadian Government Department of Health, the FTC and the USDA have stated publicly for more than fifty years that Essiac is a worthless fraud…here is the hilarious part; The Government of China has recently completed six years of clinical study in three hospitals treating terminal cancer patients with Essiac which they imported from Canada. The result? It’s on the Internet!
The Chinese Department of Health has classed Essiac as a 90% sure cure for any and all cancers! They are importing the Essiac from Canada, repacking it and selling it to other countries! Through websites and blogs such as this one, thousands of people are now learning enough about cancer to keep alive and not die from it. There are now more laymen in the laetrile movement who know more about cancer than some of our most prestigious experts in our most prestigious institutions
So you’re a pretty rotten expert, if you know so little about it as to succumb from it or have a member of your family succumb from it.
We have many case histories of people who have been helped by Vitamin B-17. Both Alicia Buttons and Mary Henderson were terminal with oral pharyngeal cancer that has a mortality rate of 98-99 percent even when caught by early diagnosis, Both made remarkable complete recoveries with Laetrile under the guidance of Dr. Hans Nieper in Germany.
I made my recovery from stage four colon cancer here in Manila under guidance of the late Dr. Manual Navarro, M.D., Nutritional Oncologist, and Professor of Internal Medicine at the most prestigious Medical Center in the Philippines at that time, St. Tomas Medical Center, Research Hospital and Medical School. Proof is everywhere that B-17 is not poison, is not cyanide as the USDA and AMA claim. The statement that Dr. Navarro made several years before he died in his 90’s, wherein he boldly stated that “the UDSA lied in it’s shameful propaganda”… his entire statement is published in the Alternative Cancer Treatment website, on the page bears his name, “Dr. Navarro” which you can go read, so I won’t take time to list it again here. Dr. Ernst Krebs in his speech, referred to in my first blog in this series, said to his audience, about ten years ago in his speech to The second annual Cancer Convention in Los Angeles,
“You know we have been meeting ten or eleven years and you’ve been hearing this story. Each time after the meeting you had 360 days to go home and read newspapers. American Cancer Society Boiler Plate and so forth. In those ten years they haven’t told you anything against Laetrile that makes any sense. You can be pretty sure they don’t really have anything against Laetrile because these people are very uninhibited and the area in which they are most uninhibited is in the area of simple lying.
“If you have any questions about Laetrile, the more critical the better because we are dealing with solid science. We are dealing with a science that admits there is no rational alternative in the ten years that have passed since these meetings. Nothing has come about to do anything except to make more obvious the fact that Laetrile, Vitamin B-17 is the answer to cancer.” So said the man who invented B-17. The late Dr. Navarro also told me that in his entire medical career which spanned over 60 years, he had never found any medicine that was as good and effective as natural B-17 found in over a hundred fruits, berries, and foods.
Now that the USDA and the B-17 haters movement has killed off most of the original apricot trees, and probably all of them that they could find, and now they are going after Pecan trees. I wonder what is next? Will they kill off the cherries and plums too? Did you know that in Canada it is now forbidden by law to advertise Cherries as being beneficial to health! What next? Corn and blueberries?
In the Philippines and in Thailand it is known that the white cassava root has B-17, and two years ago the newspapers were filled with stories planted by some allopathic doctors that several children had died of cyanide after eating cassava. A week later it was finally discovered that a cook had carelessly or accidentally dumped a container of pesticide into the cooking pot thinking it was starch…but the doctors lost no time in condemning the “cyanide” in the cassava. –a false charge never properly explained. They appear paranoid with hate toward anything natural… “Here is a Medicine for what ails you”, they will say, and the pharmacies are happily taking your money for some chemical concoction foreign to your body. Enzymes? Who needs those? The big lie; “You get all you need in your food” but food processing and heat of cooking destroys the enzymes. It is rare for a cancer patient to recover from cancer without taking digestive enzymes. Our doctors recommend that you eat half a ripe pineapple a day and two or more ripe papaya melons a day to get their enzymes. If these are not available to you, you must take digestive pancreatic enzyme tablets so your poor worn-out pancreas can have some help, or you may not make it in recovery from diabetes, heart disease, or cancer, I cannot repeat it too often; it is important to take enzymes! You cannot build up your immune system without it!

The Nature of Cancer (Part 2 of 7)
(Based in part on a speech given by Dr. Ernst Krebs, discoverer of B-17)
The natural sources of B-17 are not only ignored by most doctors, there is actually what I call an immoral, if not criminal attempt to drive it out of existence in our food train! What God created, we can assume that the apricot trees and the almond trees were part of what he created in the Garden of Eden was for mankind’s food, for then Scripture says “:And God saw everything that he had made, and behold., it was very good.” (Genesis 1:31, KJB)
“But the AMA and the USDA, must think they are smarter than God, for tey are now saying “Apricot fruits and Almond nuts are poison! They have cyanide in the seed, so you can’t eat them!” –and to stop you so you can’t eat them (and get the Amygdalin (B-17) which in error they call cyanide, they are now killing all the natural almond trees in the State of California, (as God made them) and are genetically modifying trees so that their seeds and nuts will no longer allow you to treat yourself against cancer! Politicians made it legal, based on false information that it was being done to eliminate poisoning, the lie given by the medical racketeers who do not want to lose patients!
Most original apricot trees in many States have already been removed.
“If it is natural, as made by Creation, you are safe in using it. If it is made by man, manufactured in a chemical plant, watch out! Doctors are NOT God, and they cannot come up with better answer than provided in Nature.
“Take Pernicious Anemia for example, which had a mortality rate of 98 or 99 percent. And no medical modality under the sun could touch it. Arsenic and its salts, strychnine, iron and hundreds of other remedies were tried, but to no avail, until the researchers Drs Murphy, Shipple, and Minot commenced their classical studies on the relationship of Pernicious Anemia to a dietary deficiency. While working at the University of Southern California they discovered a very simple remedy for preventing and curing the disease. They simply said to the patients. “go down to your butcher shop and get a quarter pound of fresh liver, Grind it up and take a tablespoonful every day, and take the quarter pound and cook it very lightly and just singe the surface and use this as a ration for three days.” And when the patients followed this advice without exception, those with Pernicious Anemia made complete recoveries, Despite this, these men were censored by the Medical Establishment and were criticized for engaging in what was alleged to be Medical Quackery.
“The argument was how can respectable doctors advise people with a disease that has a 99 percent mortality rate to ignore all of the established drugs of medical science and go down to the butcher shop and buy some raw liver and take this and expect this to cure a disease that nothing else had cured Well, raw liver did cure the disease and raw liver did prevent it.
“As the chemistry of raw liver was studied it was discovered that the factors responsible were vitamin B-12 and Folic acid. So vitamin B-12 and Folic Acid are now part of our normal dietary experience.
“So in 1974, the uninformed, the unimaginative and some of the illiterate are associated with what to them is a preposterous idea that by eating the seed of fruit you can prevent a disease that carries a mortality rate almost as high as that once carried by Pernicious Anemia, But Scientific truth isn’t dependent upon credibility or lack of it, The scientific reality either is or isn’t. And this is the scientific reality that the seeds of all common fruits (except citrus) contain Vitamin B-17, an anti-cancer vitamin. If we ingest proper quantities for these vitamins either in the pure form or through ingesting the nitrilosidic foods we will be able to prevent this disease just as surely as we are able to prevent Scurvy by the use of Vitamin C or Pernicious Anemia by the use of Vitamin B-12.
“There was another disaster that is a metabolic or chronic nature and this is pellagra, At one time it was so endemic in certain parts of the world, particularly the American Southwest, that there were entire hospitals given to the treatment of Pellagrans.
“The great Sir William Osler in his “Principles and Practices of Medicine” written at the turn of of the 20th Century, said of Pellagra, “I was at Lenoir, North Carolina during one winter and this winter I visited the Lenoir home for the colored insane and there 75 of th inmates died from the disease. It ran rampant through the institution and convinced me beyond any doubt that pellaga is a virus that is infectious,”
“And then came the fine works of the United States Public Health Service Surgeon, Dr. Goldberger, who shoed conclusively that the occurrence of Polrgra was related with a deficiency of fresh gree, material in the diet. So Dr. Goldenberger approached this problem first by the use of Brewers Yeast, which would completely prevent and cure Pellagra. Further studies then showed the factor in Brewers Yeast that was most determinate of this effect was niacin, Vitamin B-3.
“So another fatal chronic metabolic disease found total resolurion and cure through factors normal to the normal diet or the animal economy. We know that cancer is no exception to this great generalization and to date it has no exception. –Thay in every chronic of metabolic disewase that will ever be controlled by man, must be controlled by means that are part of the biological experience of the organism. Chronic and metabolic disesess can never be controlled, prevented, or cured by factors foreign to the biological experience of the organism.
“Lets make it clear by what we mean by biological experience to the organism. We refer to the experiences the organism has over the eons of time called evolution. The organism was exposed to water, air, carbohydrates, fats, amino acids and various salts and these factors became normal and integrated with our organism. And these, as an organism, was incorporated into the beautiful complex of “life”. And the vital mechanism of life runs just like a fine Swiss watch only infinitely more complex.”
In summary, I remind my readers that in a recent Blog I pointed out that the most important consideration in curing cancer, was not to target the cancer itself, but to target building up the weakened immune system, for if the immune system fails, all other attempts and methods will fail, and the patient cannot survive. Determine what your Immune System needs; that’s the key!
Remember that what we call the Immune System” is the center of healing for all parts of the body. It consists of the Digestive System, the Glandular system, the Respiration, and the Elimination Systems, all working according to the sub-conscious Master Plan by which the brain and nerves oversees to maintain the positive energy of the billions of cells that make up ,your body bones, flesh, and blood. Nature (your Immune System) knows more about healing than all the doctors put together. But you must eliminate some things, add some needed nutrients, balance your diet by putting back into your body the elements it needs…and watch it repair itself!
God, Nature, and Your Immune System, working together, can heal any cancer!

Back to Dr. Charles Gurchot, Ph.D, he expaines, “Oraldoses of Vitamin B-17 seem not to be much affected by the action of the acid medium of the stomach, but pass into the intestine where the substance is acted upon by bacterial enzymes.
In the intestine rhe enzyme complex Emulsin containing the enzymes Beta-glucosidase, Benzocyanase, and others,. Degrades thw Amygdalin into four components; Hydrocyanic acid, Benzaldehyde, Prunasin. And Mandeionitrile, which are absorbed into the lymph and portal circulations.
Cyanide is converted to thiocyanate probably in the blood circulation, and certainly in the liver by the enzyme Rhodanese in the presence of sulfur-bearing compounds, 1, 2.
The circulating thiocyanate exerts certain physiological effects on blood pressure and thyroid action, and is not excreted rapidly. (In the absence of the enzyme or sulfur, the cyanide may form cyano-hemoglobin.)
In cancer patients some thiocycanate finds the way to the site of the cancer lesion.
The benzaldehyde formed in the intestines probably has no important function, but in the circulation forms benzoic acid and is excreted as benzaldehyde hippurate.
Prunasan may also be changed in the liver to Mandelonitrile glucuronoside. This conversion to the glucuoronoside may take place in two different ways: 10 by combing with glucuronic acid, which would remove one more suygar molecule; 2.) by oxidation of yjr terminal alcohol group of the prunasin glucose molecule.
The mandelonitrile is absorbed from the intestine, going directly to the liver where it is convertedby the detoxification mechanism of joining it to a glucuronic acid. It may then be excreted as the glucuronide or find its way tomthe site of a malignant lesion.
Glucosidic enzymes at the lesion may hydrolyze prunasin into its components cyanide, benzaldehyde, and a glucose moclecue., to interfere with tissue respiration. In the process of enzyme hydrlysis pure mandelonitrile, as an intermediate step, may be released.
Mandelonitrile of itself may undergo spontaneous hydrolysis to HCN and benzaldehyde or enzymatic decomposition by henzocyanase present in the emulsion complex.
Mandelonitrile glucuronide may be hydolysed at the tumor site by beta-glucuronidase to yield HCN, benzaldehyde and glucuonic acid
Benzaldehyde released through these processes at the site of the malignant lesion may be reduced to benzyl alcohol and combine with the thiocyanate to form benzothiocyanate. The compind is further reduced to a thio-alcohol, benzo mercaptain, and hydrocyanic acid. In this manner HCN response reappears and may continue to do so in a cyclic manner until the intracellular conditions that permit the reaction invoilved in the cycle are no longer operative.
These phenomena would explain the synergistic effect of berzaldehyde and cyanide in depressing the metabolism of mouse tumor slices in the Warburg apparatus. (Dean Burk)

Cyanide, either as such, or as mandelonitrile , may combine with glucose to form cyanoglucose, which on hydrolysis, forms a glucuronide.heptos anatogous to gluconic acid, which would be excreted, or dehydrogenated.to heptose, which also would be excreted. The condition for this transformation exists in cancer tissue and would constitute anti-gluconeogenesis.

What does all this tell us? I think there is adequate proof to believe B-17 is a cure for cancer; also the date of that scientific evaluation of B-17 has not been read by your family doctor since 1973 (?) –that is 34 years ago! This is more than a “cover up”; this truth has been “buried”, even after being printed in the Physicians Handbook the book all doctors use for reference!.
Tomorrow I will give a brief summary of the above, which will be easier to understand (if you do not understand the chemistry terms used above) IT was explained to me personally by the greatest Oncologist who was here in the Philippines, the late Dr. Manuel Navarro, who saved my life with use of B-17 beginning 17 years ago in 1989. One of the most common nitrilosides is amygdalin. This nitriloside occurs in the kernels of seeds of practically all fruits. The seeds of apples, apricots, cherries, peaches, plums, nectarines, and the like carry this factor; often in the extraordinary concentration of 2 to 3 per cent. Since the seeds of fruits are possibly edible, it may be proper to designate the non-toxic water soluble accessory food factor or nitriloside that they contain as vitamin B-17.
The presence of nitriloside in the diet produces specific physiologic effects and leaves as metabolites specific chemical compounds of a physiologically active nature. The production by a non-toxic, water-soluble accessory food factor of specific physiological effects as well as identifiable metabolites suggests the vitamin nature of the compound.
In metabolism, nitnloside is hydrolyzed to free hydrogen cyanide, benzaldehyde or acetone and sugar. This occurs largely through the enzyme Beta-glucosidase produced by intestinal bacteria as well as by the body. The released HCN [hydrocyanide] is detoxified by the enzyme rhodanese to the relatively non-toxic thiocyanate molecule. The sugar is normally metabolized. The released benzaldehyde in the presence of oxygen is immediately oxidized to benzoic acid which is non-toxic. Thus this newly designated vitamin B-17 (nitriloside) could account for:
1. The thiocyanates in the body fluids—blood, urine, saliva, sweat, and tears;
2. For part of the benzoic acid (and subsequently hippuric acid); salicylic acid isomers;
3. For the HCN that goes to the production of cyanocobalamin from hydrocobalamin, or production of vitamin B12 from provitamin B12.
These are the physiological properties of the common mtriloside amygdalin. Before considering the possible antineoplastic activity of this vitamin B-il, let us recall that the benzoic acid arising from it has certain antirheumatic and antiseptic properties. It was rather widely used (in Gennany and elsewhere) for rheumatic disease therapy prior to the advent of the ortho-hydroxy addition product of benzoic acid known as ortho-hydroxybenzoic acid or salicylic acid. It was originally obtained from beech-wood bark. As a matter of internet, the pam- hydroxy isomer of benzoic acid occurs in the para hydroxybenzaidehyde aglycon (non-sugar) of the nitnloside found in the cereal millet. Millet was once more widely used in human nutrition than wheat. Wheat seed contains little or no nitriloside.
Recall now, that thiocyanate also was once widely used, in both Germany and American medicine, as an effective agent for hypertension. Used as such, as the simple chemical, the dosage was difficult to control. Obviously, this difficulty does not arise from the thiocyanate usually produced in the body through metabolizing vitamin B-Il (nitriloside). However, chronic hypotension has been reported in Nigerians who eat quantities of the mtriloside-containing mamoc (cassava)—especially that of the bitter variety. (Also eaten in the Philippines.)
Let us pause to reflect upon this question: Might not the rheumatic diseases as well as certain aspects of hypertension be in some cases partially related to a dietary deficiency in mtrilosides? One can hardly deny that the ingestion of a sufficient quantity of nitriloside-containing foods will metabolically yield sufficient benzoic acid and/or salicylic acid isomers to palliate rheumatic disease and certainly to decrease, however temporarily, hypertension as well as to foster the mtrilosation of provitamin B-12 to active vitamin B-i2: cyanocobalamin.
Despite all this, are we justified in suggesting that cancer itself might be another chronic metabolic disease that arises from a specific vitamin deficiency—a deficiency specifically in vitamin B-il (nitriloside)?

“The American FDA claims that Vitamin B17 is poisonous in its propaganda – this herbal medicine obtained from over 1,200 species of plants distributed all over the world.”
“The FDA lied in its propaganda poster wherein it stated that B17 contains cyanide which is half true. What it contains is the cyanide radical (CN) which needs to have an H ion before it becomes poisonous. The molecule of Vitamin B17 is in itself not poisonous until it is hydrolyzed or split by an enzyme called Beta glucosidase or glucuronidase (B.G). when B17 is injected into a cancerous patient, the B.G. around the cancer cells splits the B17 and the HCN produced diffuses into the cancer cells poisoning them, while the normal cells nearby are not poisoned due to the presence of an enzyme, rhodanese, - not found in the cancer cells. The rhodanese adds an Atom of Sulfur to the CN to form SCN, a very mild hypotensive.”
“It was brought out in the American Court trying a doctor who used B17 for his cancerous patient that the FDA has a large list of accepted drugs produced in the United States that are generally regarded as safe (GRAS list). This Gras list contains Amygladin and Amygladin is synonymous with Laetrile, the trade name of Vitamin B17.
Since then the FDA in its shame has stopped using this ploy to downgrade the use of Vitamin B17 that is highly competitive with the various drug products of the drug cartels approved by the FDA although they are more toxic than SCN produced from B17. The reactions of the FDA approved drugs are vomiting, loss of appetite, lowering of blood count suppression of the bone marrow where the immune body defenses are formed with the red and white cells and platelets to the detriment of the patients. The approved drugs poison the cancer cells as well as the normal cells!”
“Orally, Vitamin B17 in the correct dosage of 2-4 grams a day for adult, in divided doses is very well tolerated. The intravenous administration of higher dosages does not produce any reaction. A baby girl of 4 months suffering from cancer of the adrenal that has spread to the liver, bones, etc, received Vitamin B17 per rectum and she got well her ailment. She celebrated her third birthday recently.”
“The Mayo Clinic in the issue of the American Journal of the America Medical Association of February 13, 1981 declared Vitamin B17 is safe, orally or parentally in the correct dosages. In the 36 years of using it we have not met yet with any toxic reaction.”

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAKING Amygdalin (B17)
A HERBAL MEANS TO STOP CANCER CELL -KNOCK THEM DEAD!
Please read the following, which was given by the late Dr. Manuel D. Navarro, M.D., a Nutritional Oncologist who had a Clinic at his residence in Sta. Mesa, and was still active in treating patients when he was well over eighty years old! He also had a Cancer Clinic at the University of Santo Thomas Medical Center in Manila, where he had been a Biochemist and Professor of Internal Medicine for many years. Dr. Navarro passed away mid-2004, but I am alive today, (August 20 2007) at age 85-years, and free from cancer, in part because of heeding Dr. Navarro’s advice, part of which I now relate here. I said ‘in part’ because I invented a helpful electronic machine in 1997 , as the result of a God-given dream, which was only to kill my intestinal worms, but it also completely killed my colon cancer! His father, Dr. Navarro was a very modest man, simply listing himself as an “M.D.” and Nutritional Oncologist. The truth is, he was listed (in the book published in London England) as being among the “top ten” Oncologists in the entire world! He was also a brilliant Biochemist. He told he had written over 100 Scientific Report papers, and was able to save hundreds of “terminal” cancer patients by use of B-17, change of diet, supplements, and enzymes. (Enzymes are live chemical catalyst.) You can buy digestive enzymes.
Dr. Navarro was my doctor, who reversed my colon cancer, thus saving my life over eleven years ago. One of the most interesting things told to me by Dr. Navarro was, that in forty years of practice, he never had discovered anything better than Amdalyn, (Vitamin B-17), as found in the seeds of apricots, apples, prunes, peaches, and bitter almonds. (The ones from China). There was a famed psychic healer, who working with doctors, who said “if you eat 10 bitter almonds a day, you will never get cancer.”
Food B-17 is also found in soybeans, mung bean sprouts, and in a hundred different vegetables, grains, nuts, wild-berries, blueberries, huckleberries, wild Oregon grape, and one of the very best sources is the familiar white tropical sweet potato, called Cassava, and that is what this blog is all about. Dr. Navarro told me he had a niece in Mindanao who developed cancer. She lived too far away from him to treat her, and she could not afford to buy B-17, so he told her how to make it. Just from following his instructions she treated herself at home, and in four months the cancer almost gone. Then through a Friendship Club she corresponded with an American, and they fell in love, He came to the Philippines, married her, and took her to the US. Eating American style food, the cancer returned, and in another year she was gone. There is a moral in this story; you can control your cancer but you must continue doing the right things in order to prevent a return.– and Dr. Navarrow told me an easy way how to prepare it, and I used it myself. Before telling you how to make it, I will explain the rest of what he recommended to me.
1. Digestive enzymes, as found in fresh Pineapple and other fruit juice, helps de-shield the cancer-cell’s protective protein coating which cancer-cells get when we eat animal-source protein foods, (meat, eggs, milk). He said buy the German enzyme “Pancroflat” (Pancreatan) and Co’Enzyme Q-10, 300 mg. or more (from “Health Foods” stores} put on salads. Its best that you eat as many raw fruits, raw vegetable salads, etc, as possible. Use “Virgin Olive Oil”, or Virgin Coconut oil, four tablespoons a day plus Apple-Cider Vinegar, two tablespoons each and every day.
2. Vitamin “C” (not time delay) ten grams a day in 5 divided doses and “Natural” Vitamin “E” (400 iu. twice daily) Beta Carotene (15 mcg.) Niacin 200 mg./day, (flush free can be found) take sublingual B-12, (100 iu.) and Folic Acid, 400 mcg 2x day.
3. Plus, add the minerals, Selenium, 800 mcg., Zinc 100 mg. a day, and make and drink fresh juices, cabbage juice, pineapple juice, red beets juice and carrot juice (can be mixed), drink all you can every day. Best before meals (or whenever thirsty.) also drink only pure (filtered) water. –not distilled.
4. Now I will tell what Dr. Manuel Navarro said is an effective low-cost treatment to stop andhelp reverse cancer growth. In the morning, before breakfast, take about 4 inches of average size Cassava root (about 3mm to 4 mm diameter) wash and peel off only the outer brown skin, (easier if you use a “potato peeler” , instead of a knife) then chop into small pieces about 1mm. To 2 mm in size, and place in a food blender. Add two cups (16 ounces) of distilled water and blend at high speed. Only two minutes is enough. Then pour the “Cassava Milk” into a wide mouth glass storage bottle, and cool it in the refrigerator.
After it sets awhile you will see that all the dissolved starch has settled to the bottom, and there is nearly two cups of clear liquid on the top. Drink one-half of this (one cup) in the morning before breakfast, and drink the other half in the early evening. It is slightly bitter, so you may add concentrated fruit juice or flavor. You should consume only about 4 inches of the root the first day, but each day thereafter you add ½ inch more until one day you will feel a little dizzy a few minutes after taking it, That says STOP, and that is your tolerance level, so use 1/2 inch less thereafter. It safely kills cancer, but be very careful not to exceed the daily recommended amount. This should not be given to children, unless supervised by a doctor.
It is NOT deadly “Cyanide”, it is only (B-17) called Amygdalin and is similar in formula to cyanide, but it lacks an “h” factor of the cyanide formula, and it is an amazing fact that only cancer cells, being non aerobic, do produce within themselves that missing “h” factor, and thus poison themselves when touched by B-17! – but all other cells are left untouched! -This was well explained by Dr, Navarro,
The South American Indians living in the heights of the central mountain areas… eat maize (corn) as their major food. They never have cancer. Their maize corn contains large amounts B-17!
The Eskimos of the Northern Artic do not have vegetables, but because they eat reindeer that feed on tundra grasses, which contain large amounts of B-17, they never get cancer!
The people of Hunza-land (about whom books have been written) never have had cancer in hundreds of years because they eat the seeds of a hardy apricot which contains concentrated B-17!
The Chinese have known for centuries that those who eat several bitter almonds every day never get cancer! Even wild animals, deer, antelope, bears, never get cancer in the wild, but do die of cancer in the zoo! In the wild, they eat berries, grasses and “weeds” which contain B-17.
Also, in fighting cancer, try Romanian Dr. Budwig’s protocol, 2 tablespoons cold-pressed refrigerated Flax Oil Take 2X a day mixed with ½ cup of Cottage Cheese. (for Sulfur) (Sulfur promotes healing.) Flaxseed oil is available in bottles from some Health-food Stores and through the Doctors who use supplemental healing methods, but it must be refrigerated from time of manufacture until time of consumption. Also, be aware that Flax-oil “capsules” (from Health Food stores) are worthless unless they are refrigerated.
A few final words of advice: Avoid artificial fats (margarine) and bakery products containing “hydrogenated” oils, and sugars, for it is the artificial fats and sugar which cause arterial deposits and high-blood pressure. You must avoid all “soft drinks”, and sugar; (cancer cells love sugar!) Sugar, and junk foods, not cholesterol, causes problems! Butter is okay; it is NOT the cause of high-blood pressure, for it is a natural fat easy to digest, and was eaten for centuries long before heart attacks became common!
The newest Medical Reports have proven that we have been deceived in being told to eat a “low-fat, high-carbohydrate” diet; the truth is the opposite! People who eat (natural) “high-fat low-carbohydrate” diets have the healthiest hearts. So eat wisely, and avoid potato chips, corn chips, and other such “junk foods“ as they are all made with the bad artificial fats! CANCER is REALLY being cured!

In a recent Blog I told that “CANCER is BIG BUSINESS”.
Isn’t it strange that the more conventional medicine focuses on cancer, the more lives this killer claims.
For many years the number one killer was heart attacks. But now cancer is rapidly advancing and soon will be number one. When you go into a store and see ten people, three (or more) will die of cancer. It’s appalling.
Coincidence? No, it’s because the drug industry-controlled mainstream recommendations for the treatment and prevention of cancer, and other diseases, is often the exact opposite of what you should be doing for optimum health.
In April of 1989 I was told by a conventional oncologist in a Manila Hospital after X rays and barium enemas that my fist-sized colon cancer would kill me within six months unless I had an immediate surgical operation followed by chemo-therapy. As I told in a previous blog, I said I would like to get a second opinion. The Hospital Chief of Staff himself, exclaimed “It’s too late already; come in tomorrow!” But because I am a Charismatic Missionary to the Philippines, I fervently asked God for His guidance, and that night the answer popped into my mind.
Then, by a series of strange “co-incidences” I was directed to the late eminent Dr. Manual Navarro M.D. who here in Manila, where I am now still active in the Church at age 85 and free from cancer, treated me with Alternative Medicine and arrested my cancer and had me improving within three weeks with methods which the USDA says are ineffective and fraudulent. Now after 17 years, I am still free from cancer.
In 1991 I made a trip back to my home in Idaho, and while there I needed some medication for another problem, so as a WW-II Veteran I went to the V.A. Hospital in Boise for free medication. When they discovered I was being treated for cancer they wanted to immediately schedule me for surgery. There was argument; they insisted I have the operation. One of the head oncologists emphatically told me, “There is only three cures for colon cancer, surgery, chemo-therapy, and radiation.” When I argued that Dr. Navarro was successfully treating me with B-17 (Amygdalin) Vitamin C and diet, I was informed diet would not help, and the oncologist said “We have heard about Dr. Navarro, but if he is successful in curing cancer, why doesn’t he write a medical report telling how he is doing it?” I replied that I did not know but would ask Dr. Navarro upon my return. Weeks later I asked Dr. Navarro, and he laughed and replied, “I have written over one hundred scientific reports and case studies, but the AMA and the USDA will not publish a one of them. I doubt they even read them”, he said.
My experience is an example of the fact that you will rarely discover a safe or alternative cure for cancer by talking to your hometown doctor wherever you live in the USA. During the past week I have received three telephone calls from women who have breast cancer, and were terrified by the advice given by their doctors that they should have an immediate operation.
One of them was even so told by an esteemed lady doctor whom I know. (I have to be careful, as I explained to each of them) that I cannot advise them to not have an operation in conflict to the advice of their doctors, for I then would be in legal difficulty, but I told them that “If I were you, I would get a second opinion from another doctor”, and I gave them the names of four of our PCAM physicians, one of which is my friend Dr, Efren Navarro, MD, who assumed the practice of his father when he passed on in 1994. He uses the BCG test originated by his father, which tells 99% accurately the extent of any cancer involvement, without needing any surgery or even a biopsy.
How tragic it is that recent statistics show many breasts have been removed and then the lab tests show the lump was not malignant! Others have had breasts removed and thereby incurred a death sentence from cancer cells being spread to other organs by the surgery itself, resulting in painful deaths after another 2 or 3 years.
The Philippine Star Newspaper reported as early as June 08, 2004 that there was another break-though here in Manila for cancer therapy. This was reported as I shall now describe, then covered up by “traditional” (read Western) doctors. (This is only one of several Alternative cancer cures.. yes “cures” available in the Philippines, without surgery.)
Michael Miller, an American business man from North Carolina, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in May 2003. He underwent standard traditional chemotherapy that started in June and continued until January of 2004. “About October or November last year, I read about Rexin-G and Dr. Erlinda Gordon who developed this product,” Miller relates. “Through other family members who were involved with the University of Southern California where Dr. Gorden was a faculty member, we were able to make some connection.”
In April 2004, Miller came to the Philippines where three Filipino cancer patients had already previously received the intervention treatment. “The standard traditional chemotherapy, which I had earlier, held my cancer at bay, but it tool a toll on me physically,” Miller recalls. “Since coming here and taking the gene therapy, the tumor in my body had been reduced by 50 percent. The tumor that had metastasized in the liver had disdappeared. Now I have less cancer than what I had a year ago when I was diagnosed. We are seeing positive results and we plan on continuing this.
“His response is remarkable,” says Dr. Gernardo Cornelio who, together with Dr. Conrado Lorenzo III, had been conducting the clinical study here. The very first human to receive the intervention was a Filipino. “It began with a plea from a man whose wife had terminal pancreatic cancer.” Dr. Gordon relates. “He learned about our gene therapy clinical trials through the Internet and hoped his wife would be allowed to participate. Responding to the urgency of his requests, we arranged with Epeius Biotechnologies Corp to export the Rexin-G and to open a compassionate use clinical trial in a world class tertiary care hospital in the Philippines.
Epeius Biotechnologies Corp, the privately held biopharmaceutical company that is focused on the research, development, and commercialization of the TDS (targeted delivery system) technology, was founded by Dr. Frederick L. Hall, president and CEO of Epeius, and Dr. Erlinda M. Gordon, Epeius Medical Director and VP for Operations and Medical affairs. Dr. Hall, an American Bio-Chemist And biophysicist, and Dr. Gordon, a Filipino American physician and scientist, together undertook the pioneering scientific and medical study that is hoped to benefit cancer patients where other conventional medicine has failed.
“The approach of the gene therapy technology is a lot better than the traditional chemotherapy treatments,” Miller says, “Standard chemotherapy attacks the whole body. It gets your white blood cells. It gets your red blood cells, It makes you weak. It causes your hair to fall out. It is a difficult thing to go through. While it’s trying to kill the cancer, it is killing you at the same time. But with gene therapy, there is no side effects whatever. As a result, in the past six weeks, my hair has started to grow back again. My blood work is fine, I come back from thje hospital after my morning treatment and jump on my treadmill for an hour and a half. I can do the thongs I was doing about a year ansd a half ago prior to being diagnosed with cancer.”
In addition to the above about gene therapy there is much more which will be covered tomorrow. There is a very unusual testimonial about cancer-cure that everyone should read; it is by a well known Filipina woman, Judy Sim, wife of a medical doctor, who was healed of pancreatic cancer by use of the Alternative Electronic device described, my own invention, the Bio-Energizing machine I invented and finally cured myself in 1997 of cancer after Dr, Navarro had passed away and my cancer had returned. Now at age 85 I have no cancer and have taken no medicine for it for nearly ten years. CANCER is a VERY BIG Highly Profitable Business
Where most patients expire after The Best SURGERY- CHEMO-THERAPY & Radiation which Removes Fathers, Mothers, Children, and leaves broken hearted family members who often are destitute because of having spent their life savings trying to save the loved cancer victim. Only the Doctors benefit who treat them with expensive treatments that fail most of the time.
An example: I was recently contacted by a friend who told me about her friend, a woman 35 years of age who had small-cell lung cancer and was undergoing Chemo-therapy, which was a terrible financial burden for her husband, and my friend asked me what I thought should be done. I told her the doctor was just making money and adding to the poor woman’s distress, for any Oncologist will tell you there is no cure for small-cell lung cancer,. And they all know that, so why was that doctor doing chemo on that patient? The answer is as plain as the nose on your face; he was in a money-making business. Since all doctors say ‘there is no cure’, why do they fight the Alternative doctor which says there is a cure?…and it is low priced. It is–Vitamin B-17! Again, it is ignorance of the truth, or the answer is $$$$.
The American Food and Drug Administration issued one such story about the death of an eleven month old girl, supposedly killed by cyanide poisoning due to her apparently swallowing her father’s Vitamin B-17 tablets he was taking for his cancer. Dr. Harold Manner, a cancer specialist, and an advocate of B-17 takes up the story;
(Dr. Manner) “I was lecturing in Buffalo, New York, and…after I had made some strong statements, a man stood up and said, “Dr Manner, how in the world can you make statements like that when the FDA is making these other statements?” I reiterated that the FDA statements were lies. He said, Look at this little girl in upstate
New York, she took her father’s Laetrile tablets and dies of cyanide poisoning.” Just then a little lady stood up and “Dr. Manner let me answer that question, I think I am entitled to because I am that little baby’s mother. That baby never touched her father’s Laetrile tablets. The doctor, who knowing my husband was on Laetrile, marked down “possible cyanide poisoning”. At the hospital they used a cyanide antidote and it was the antidote that killed the child. And yet that statement will continue to appear even though they know it is a lie.”
The scare stories always focus on the minute amounts of naturally occurring “cyanide” found in Vitamin B-17. But no mention is ever made in any of these stories of the wondrous mechanism governing the release of this cyanide. There is no cyanide released to the person eating the vitamin. My own doctor, Dr. Manuel Navarro was no ordinary doctor. He was a full Professor, taught Internal Medicine for years in Manila’s most prestigious University Medical School, was a distinguished Bio Chemist, and he told be firsthand and illustrated to me on his Clinic’s blackboard, how B-17 works to kill cancer cells.
Dr. Navarro wrote the formula for cyanide on his blackboard, and told me “One drop of this would kill you in less than a minute…but now look; in the middle of the formula was an “h” and with his eraser he removed that “h”, and said “what you see now is not cyanide; it is Amygdalin, which is called B-17.
Dr. Navarro wrote an article, and said, ”The American FDA claims that Vitamin B17 is poisonous, in it’s propaganda – this herbal medicine obtained from over 1,200 species of plants distributed all over the world
“The FDA lied in its propaganda poster wherein it sated that B17 contains cyanide which is half true. What it contains is the cyanide radical (CN) which needs to have an H ion before it becomes poisonous. The molecule of Vitamin B-17, is in itself not poison until it is hydrolyzed or split by this enzyme called Beta glucosidase or glucuronidase (B,G,)
“When B-17 is injected into a cancerous patient the B.G. around the cancer cells splits the B-17 and the HCN produced diffuses into the cancer cells poisoning them, while the normal cells nearby are not poisoned due to the presence of an enzyme, rhodanese, not found in the cancer cells. The rhodanese adds an atom of sulfur to the CN to form SCN, a very mild hypertensive.”
“It was brought out in the American Court trying a doctor who used B17 for his cancerous patient that the FDA has a large list of accepted drugs produced in the United States that are generally regarded as safe (GRAS list) This Grass list contains Amygdalin, and Amygdalin is synonymous with Laetrile, the trade name of Vitamin B17”.
“Since then, the FDA, in its shame, has stopped using this ploy to downgrade the use of Vitamin B17 that is highly competitive with the various drug products of the Drug cartels approved by the FDA, although they are more toxic than SCN produced from B17. The reactions of the FDA approved drugs are vomiting, loss of appetite, lowering of blood count, suppression of the bone marrow where the immune body defenses are formed with the red and the white cells and platelets, to the detriment of the patients. The approved drugs poison the normal cells as well as the cancer cells.”
“Orally, Vitamin B17 in the correct dosage of 2-4 grams a day for adult, in divided doses is very well tolerated. The intravenous administration of higher doses does not produce any reaction. A baby girl of 4 months suffering from cancer of the adrenal that had spread to her liver, bones, etc, received B17 per rectum and she got well her ailment. She celebrated her third birthday recently.”
“The Mayo Clinic in the issue of The American Journal of The American Medical Association of February 1981 declared Vitamin B17 is safe, orally or parentally in the correct dosages. In the 36 years of using it, we have not met yet with any toxic reaction.”
So in summary, I ask, Why should anyone with cancer undergo the terrible consequences of expensive, painful, and dangerous Chemotherapy without first trying B17? It becomes cyanide only when released into those cells that have high glucosidase content.
It might be said the cancer cells commit suicide because they manufacture that missing “H” factor. Rest assured that the warnings that B17 is cyanide and can kill you are just outright lies.
In the Orient, and especially in the Philippines this wonderful low-cost B17 is available –and I am here at 85 as a result of B17 around which my colon cancer treatment was based and saved my life. I have never needed any drugs.
Very sadly there has been a sustained attack by the conventional cancer industry on this treatment, an attack that has been carried on in one form or another for the last forty-seven years. With global spending on conventional cancer cure running into hundreds of Billions annually, a naturally occurring simple cancer cure of any description is unwanted.
Dr. Moss points out that about 650,000 people die every year in the US, from cancer, so it really is like an epidemic disease. In 1900 only 3% of people died from cancer; now it is 33 %! What is going on? Every one of those people who are getting cancer and dying of it is first being treated and those treatments are extremely expensive, while not very effective… A bone marrow transplant, which is basically another way of giving chemotherapy, or radiation, can run to about $150,000 per person, and is almost never effective. It kills about 25% of the patients. –and the treatments add pain.
Why then does this “conventional” treatment continue to be done? Because of the money, which is tremendous. As said in the previous blog, CANCER is BIG Business.

While serving as a Missionary in the Philippines, I found an article in one of Manila’s newspaper, the Daily Inquirer, an interesting but ridiculous health article written by some local guy named George True, who had a daily health column and was supposed to be an authority in matters of health. The article was so ridiculous, it was a classic of error, I laughed at his ignorance, and thought he should change his name from True to False.
Beginning in 1947 during my college days, and in all my later years, I have kept up on what is happening in the field of health, and almost could not believe that guy was a news columnist .in a major newspaper. Somebody had asked him if it was true that vitamin C, in large amounts, as said by the Dr. Linus Pauling, could cure a common cold, and what did he think about taking vitamins?. George True replied that Linus Pauling was not a medical doctor, so knew little about medicine. Then he warned that taking Vitamin C could cause kidney stones, and that taking vitamins was not necessary, and said that all you need is a balanced diet. Then for references, he quoted Dr. Fishbien, MD, the head of the USDA as saying vitamins are unnecessary, and said that they had been tested by Consumer’s Guide, and were found to be worthless , He warned against taking any of them. Then he said, “Vitamins are sold only by health quacks, and by Chiropractors, massage people, and such ilk!.” After reading it, I laughed and threw it away. I wished later I had kept it.
About two weeks later I was strolling by a sidewalk market, and noticed a new newspaper on a rack. It was named the “Standard”, and out of curiosity I bought it. That was what a friend said was the best bit of luck to happen to me in years, for what I read became to me a sign-post on the road of life which had a lot to do with my present recovered health. When I opened that paper, on the middle of the third page was a large article entitle “TRUE IS FALSE AGAIN”. Of course that caught my eye, and I looked at th bottom of the article to see who wrote it. It was signed Dr. Abram Hoffer, MD, PhD, PhD (no error) Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. –and I said to myself, “this man is no quack”, and I read the article.
Someone had cut out and mailed that first article I had seen to Dr. Hoffer to get his viewpoint. His answer went like this; ’I have read other articles by George True who clains to be a medical researcher and has written a few decent reports, but his one was off the wall. In the first place, True said Linus Pauling is not a doctor. That is half true, He is not a medical doctor but he is a Bio-Chemist who discovered more about Vitamins and health than any ten medical doctors put together, and if you do not believe me, ask your doctor…any doctor, “Doctor, how much study did you do on diet and vitamins in Medical School. If he says “one hour” he is fortunate, for that information is not taught in most Medical Schools. Linus Pauling was awarded not one but two Nobel prizes for his discoveries about Vitamin C.. And there has never been one case in all medical history of Vitamin C causing Kidney stones,. Furthermoe Consumers Guide is a testing agency for hair dryers, auto tires, electric fan, and other appliances. What do they know about health? Nothing”
Dr. Hoffer said, “The Philippines are fortunate to have the first Ortho-molicular doctor in the Orient, her name is Dr Versosa, MD.” I picked up on that name immediate when a few weeks later after seeing the newspaper articles I was diagnosed to have terminal colon cancer. I discovered where Dr. Versosa had her Clinic, went to see her, and she in turn told me, “You don’t need an operation; I will send you to Doctor Manuel Navarro, He will fix you up,” And that is how a newspaper article ended up saving my life, for Dr. Navarro turned out to be the best cancer specialist in the Orient. You can read about him and read one of his articles on Amygdalin (B-17) imported from Germany, along with proper diet and Enzymes (imported from Japan) he stopped my cancer in three months. He told me the enzymes are even more important than any vitamins or minerals.
In a previous Blog I told how I did well until after he passed away in 1994, and then in 1997 I invented the Alternative Cancer Machine which because of hearing about Hulda Clark calling her gadget a “Zapper” I used that same name for my machine, the “Bio-Energizing Zapper” Now I know there is little similarity between her “zapper” and my invention which uses a different method of operation.
